Lissy's heart sank. Demoted to running errands, then? And by her boss, no less. Her eyes narrowed but she forced a smile.
"I-I'm s-s-s-ure y-you can get it y-y-yourself, r-right?" she asked carefully. "A-after a-a-all, I-I-'m a b-b-bit new h-here. I d-don't exactly kn-know how to w-w-w-w--usethe coffee machine." She gave a short, nervous laugh and cast her gaze around at the other doctors, hoping against hope that someone would save her from this humiliation.
"Umm...." Lissy's eyes darted about one last time, hurt and yet, still hopeful. "I g-guess I c-c-could go f-for some c-offee myself." Her smile was fake and inside her stomach churned with anger, both that her boss would even dare to ask a fellow doctor to fetch her coffee, and that she herself was worthless enough to take the order. "D-does a-a-a-anyone else w-want anything?" she finally said, casting her eyes downward.

"You know how to operate complex macheinery and you passed through college biology courses yet you don't know how to work a cofee macheine." Isadora cocked an eyebrow, half impressed and half annoyed at the woman's lack of compliance. But hell what did she expect the Lissy was a psych major right.
Or maybe she just conned her way into the job, a good stutter will make anyone feel sorry for you.

Aspen read Lissy’s disappointment very clearly. It was not at all fair of Isadora to ask the other woman to get her coffee. Lissy was a doctor, and she deserved the respect her position had earned her. “I’ll come too, Dr. Cheval, I need to know where the coffee machine is myself. If I go with someone it will save me the humiliation of wandering around lost. Is that alright with you?” Aspen knew very well where the coffee machine was. She had gone there early yesterday morning, but she knew no one else in the room would know that. Besides, this way it was not a complete and utter form of humiliation for Lissy. “So, Dr. Vivax, you want a coffee, two sugars some creamer, anyone else?” She asked, her tone and mannerisms expressing that she did really want to find the coffee machine and play waitress for everyone. She hoped some other people would ask, though. She got up so she was standing next to Lissy, waiting for an answer from the other woman. She would not go if the other doctor did not want her to.

Lissy's eyes glowed with appreciation of the Aspen's words, and she smiled warmly. "Of course you're welcome to come, Dr.Winney." she managed to say without stuttering, proud of herself that she could do that without being around pateints, which is what it usually took for her stuttering to quit.
"Yy-es." she said after a moment, reaizing she should probably back up Aspen's statements. "D-d-does a-anyone w-w-w-w-need anything th-thing else?" She ran a hand through her silky dark hair, perplexed that only one person would bother standing up to an unfair boss.

"Nah. You didn't hire me for my intelligance, you only hired me for the eye candy," Jason replied, not at all bothered by Isadora's rather foul mood. He'd learnt in the short amount of time that he'd known her, that she was like this all the time, and he'd gotten used to it. A roomie that he had back at university had been the same, and it had taken Jason six months to cure him of his bookish ways and get him to come out clubbing. But he supposed that he was falling behind with his skincare... and the blond vowed to make an appointment so that he could have a facial. And a massage while he was at it. "Ha. You wish. I should take you out sometime. You need to release some of that tension." Of course, he had every intention of doing that, since it was his belief that no one should go through life without going clubbing at least once. And Isadora obviously hadn't ever been before, or it had been years since she had done. Turning towards the two women who were offering to get coffee, he grinned at them. "Black coffee, no sugars and just with a bit of creamer on the top." Well, they were offering, and how could Jason turn down two pretty ladies?
