Twenty years after the famous Harry Potter killed Lord Voldemort, with his two best friends by his side, the Wizarding World was turned upside down, once again. Rumors were spreading through England like wildfire. Some claimed that Voldemort wasn’t really dead, others said that Harry killed the wrong person. The most ridiculous one, however, was that Tom Riddle had a son; Voldemort’s spawn, if you will. The rumors all came whizzing about on the tenth anniversary of Voldemort’s death. At first, among the pureblood families, it was just to cause attention. The gossip circle had nearly died, and nearly all of the rich former Slytherins, our famous Draco Malfoy included, actually missed hearing of Voldemort’s victories and defeats. Pureblood families had a strange rational that if they started talking about the old days, when their Lord was in power, that fear would be re-ignited and virtual chaos would once again ensue.
How terribly true that was. Not long after the rumors started, certain riots started blooming all over England. At first they were simple, childish, and mild. But as time wore on, the situations got worse and worse. Was there really a secret ‘spawn’ so to speak, that riled up all of the old Death Eaters? Was he planning to get revenge for his father’s horrific death? The riots ranged from playing tricks on muggles to killing ‘mudbloods’. As time progressed, the attacks started becoming more frequent and more harmful. The outcomes were far more disastrous and something, clearly, had to be done.
But the question was what? Of course the witches and wizards turned to their famous trio… Except maybe that was the wrong place to look. See, the year after the three graduated from Hogwarts, things changed between Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, and Harry Potter. They weren’t close-knit, nor did they make any real motive to communicate with one another. Hermione attempted a couple of times to owl the two, but she never got a response. Such negative feedback simply caused her to give up hope. She became a Healer at St. Mungo’s, and threw herself completely into her work. Harry Potter became the Minister of Magic, and hid up in his office all day. Ronald Weasley became the Headmaster of Hogwarts. All three were completely successful and completely out of contact with the others.
About the same time the trio split, Draco Malfoy and Rose Zeller walked into Hermione’s life. They were transfers to the hospital, and Hermione was given the duty to train them. Seeing the ‘bouncing ferret’ brought back all kinds of Hogwarts memories, and she felt the same bitter attitude towards Malfoy as she had in her seventh year. The only difference was the slightest pull of attraction she got whenever she looked at him. Hermione Granger found herself falling in love with Draco Malfoy. So he was already married? True love found it’s way into Hermione’s heart, and the two had an affair. The result? Twins. Hermione gave birth to two healthy, adorable babies, who held their father’s devious attitude and their mother’s charming looks. Hermione left Draco, and fled London, caring for the twins on her own.
Rose Zeller married Landon Avery, one of Draco’s close companions. They had three children and had a fairly happy marriage. They weren’t the closest of couples, but they weren’t the type that didn’t communicate either.
So, fast forward back to the present. The Wizarding World is running around like crazy searching for their famous heroes to come and save the day, yet again. Eventually, the trio pulled it together, and decided to do something about it. Of course, things were much different, seeing as they hadn’t seen one another in over nineteen years. The three defeated most of the attackers, but a few got away. Landon Avery saw Hermione Granger, and used the killing curse on her. Within an instant, she was dead. But not before Harry killed Landon in return.
The only common factor in all of this was Blaise Zabini and his son. Are they the cause of the newfound disruption in the Wizarding World? Is it them who are responsible for Hermione’s and Landon’s death? Only time will tell. In the meantime, loyalties are being tried, friendships are being pushed to the limit, and people are on the brink of insanity.
