Name: Aly

How you found Anomaly: Neopets
How long you have been roleplaying: three years
The Character
Name: Felicienne (Lissy) Cheval
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Race: Caucasian
How long have they been at St. Mary's? : A week and a half
Position: Psychiatrist for the criminally insane ward
Training: PhD. in forensic pathology, M.D. in criminal psychology
Appearance: Delicately built, perhaps five foot two and one hundred and five pounds, although she isn't a stick by any means, Lissy is cute in the girl-next-door sort of way, and is most definitely a classic Frenchwoman. Her hair is in dark brown ringlets and her eyes are a a warm hazel. She looks rather like that girl everyone knew in high school, the quiet, impeccably kind one who was pretty but rather forgettable, whom all the boys were friends with but no one ever dated.
Personality: Impossibly nice, with a warm, caring, almost maternal attitude. However, she is quiet and shy to a fault, at least when she isn't with patients, and she has a slight stutter when she speaks to her colleagues.
History:
Lissy was born in Marseilels, France, to a struggling young couple who had little to offer their daughter. When her father died, Lissy was raised by her mother and a succession of boyfriends who trooped through the house, some of them abusive, whether emotionally or physically, and others with that strange, sick pathology that leads a person to hurt a child. As son as she turned eighteen, Lissy moved to San Diego to attend college there, and because, as her teachers said, she tested at a practically genius I.Q., she whipped through exams and classes to become one of the youngest doctors the school had ever turned out. Her first job is at St. Mary's, where she was hired because of her gentle personality and her stunning school history. Her patients(at least many of them) are alreadyquite fond of her because of the way she listens and understand them. However, because she is so young, she is given the dregs of society to deal with, and people are passed onto her with whom others have had no breakthroughs, and she herself struggled through that. She is not outstanding really, in any way other than that she is trusted and well-liked.

Hm. Slim pickings today. Aurelie leClaire sighed as she looked at the cages and cages of fellow humans. Why did she need a slave again? Oh, yes, because... Wait. No, she didn’t remember. All she remembered was that she was to find a strong, young, male slave. Preferably close to her own age, seventeen. Perhaps it was just that Lissa wanted to teach her a few new things about the opposite sex…. No, that couldn't be it. Aurelie already knew all there was to know.
Or maybe the reason really was that it was time she had a nice young bodyguard. Her own were rather… inadequate, she thought, wrinkling her nose at the slim middle-aged man trailing her. His gaze never left the seductive sway of her hips, clad as they were in the highest of fashionable dresses, a silky green thing that hugged every curve of her upper body and draped dramatically over the rest, leaving little to the imagination, at least in the upper parts.
Really, the young leClaire was quite the height of new fashion and style, with her black hair in an elegant chignon that allowed only a few ebony curls to fall and hit her collarbone, artfully arranged to look perfect. Her sharp, almost frighteningly green eyes were lined with thick kohl, which, although it was not common, only accentuated the lovely, coolly observant face. Her lips were painted fire-red, and the long, well-shaped nails of her hands were painted the same poison-green as her dress.
At any rate, Aurelie managed to draw stares from men of all shapes, sizes, ages, and classes, as well as the gazes of a few women, although those of the female gender tended to look upon her with disgusted jealousy. Even the slaves in the cages did nothing to hide their blatant shock at such a clearly prominent and clearly bored young woman wandering about their market.
Her eyes fell uninterested on the paper that the newsboy was waving about, with a headline that stated, in bold letters: KING JERRILD HAS DECLARED OFFICIAL WAR ON KORINTH. Which was true, for once. (The paper was often misinformed.) After all, King Jerrild's country, this lovely land of Trahn, was a greedy one, and King Jerrild was a greedy king.
Indeed, half the money earned from the high taxes he imposed on his people simply went to buying lavish things for him and his friends, Aurelie's mother being one of them, (and, Aurelie suspected, one of his mistresses as well) and the King was well on his way to throwing the whole country into not just the war with Korinth, but a civil war amongst themselves, the rich versus the poor. Ergo, this bodyguard business with Aurelie was, despite her misgivings, a rather good idea. One never knew when a person with either connections or a bow and arrow would recognize this highly-favored young woman and wish to shoot her down.
Anyway, it fell to Aurelie to do the picking, because in the end, it was her body being guarded, right?
