Sample: (Can be from any roleplay.) Tristan found herself in yet another dream, her skin was burning and beads of sweat trickled down her forehead. She heard screaming in the backround but all around her she saw nothing but complete darkness. She reached her hand out trying to catch hold of anything, her hand only meeting the space around her. She heard voices and knew right away that it was the cloaked men. Tristen knew they brought pain with them and to her it was unlcear as to why. In her dream Tristan could no longer breathe for the icy grip of one of the cloaked figures had wrapped around her throat. The nails digging into her skin and it felt like ice. Tristan could no longer scream for help even if no one was there. A cruel laugh echoed in her ear as Tristan struggled.
Tristan was in pain and was afraid but would not show these people she was. But then there was a small feeling on her hand, it was as if something was lightly scratching it. She looked down at her hand but nothing was there and the cloaked men continued to tighten their grip. This time the scratching on Tristan's arm came again, and almost like she was being pulled away from another body she felt a strong pull. Tristan's eyes fluttered for a moment before finally opening, and she found herself gasping for breath. She had been trembling and her body was in shock.
Tristan realized that she was in her dorm room, as the other students slept on she pulled her legs into her. Silence filled the room and it was then that she noticed what had been scratching her arm. It was Pip, he had sensed that she was having another nightmare and had woken Tristan up. Finally though, Tristan realized what had happened and in the dark alone she cried. The hot tears rising in her eyes and streaking across her cheeks. It was in these moments that she felt vulnerable and weak. Picking Pip up Tristan silently moved across the floorboards, careful not to step on made that creaked and made her way over to the window. There she stared out at the moon that seemed to cover the entire sky, and standing there she cried until she could no more and settling back in bed when all was at peace.
