The Character
Name: Isadora Vivax
Gender: Female
Age: 36
Race: White
Position: Leader of Anomaly Special Forces Unit.
Training: She has a PH.D in literature, and also minored in psychology, and biology. She knews a lot about almost everything but has yet to specialize.
Appearence: Isadora is a pretty enough women with decent cheekbones and long elagent hands, however her whole face has a very sharp hawkish feel to it, and her nails are long and sharp. She stands tall at about 5'9, and imposing as she likes to wear black suits and pinstripe professional outfits. She wears dark red lipstick and and moody eyes, and although professional it certainly is a commanding fare. She does not look like the sort of women one would approach on the street to ask the time for.
Personality: Although mildly attractive Isadora has a horribly sharp tongue. She never really learned how to play nice when she was younger and is literally the boss from hell. She is a mean cruel person and her insults even strike when someone is down. This causes only the hardiest people to be around her. However she is incredibly good at what she does and although caustic is a good teacher. She has an incredible sex-drive though had never had anything more serious than a one-night stand as in a deeper relationship she is impossible to get along with.
History: Isadora was born to two professors one in neuro-science (her mother) and the other in 18th century literature, both who taught her well, better than the public schools she was sent to when she was younger. She grew up in NYC, and was a city girl through and through, however in her majority poor school (her parents weren't millionairs themselves) she felt entirely out of place as an intellectual. Thus she learned how to defend her self verbally and psychically, and slowly became completly with-drawn from everyone, including her parents.
She threw herself into her work, and although socially she had no friends (she did not even go to prom) she was quickly learning a vast amount of information about everything and had a shot at the best colleges. She graduated a year early and went to Yale, and spent a couple years in college deciding what she wanted to major in as everything appealed to her.
She just finished with her PHD when she heard about St. Mary's needless to say it interested her, and she quickly founded program. However she is quickly realizing she can't do it on her own so is hiring some new team members to help her out.
She stopped contact with her paretns after college and they have been busy raising her new sister, who had Down's Syndrome beacause they tried to have her too late. Isadora doesn't even know her new sister exsists as she ignores all phone calls and letters

Sample: “Preventive measures you say,” Dr. Isadora stroked her chin mock thoughtfully, leaning against the refurbished walls of St. Mary’s insane asylum. “What a brilliant idea Ms. Wilde, almost so brilliant I just thought of it myself five minutes ago.” The poor young intern doctor looked quite shaken at the idea and all vestiges of any self-esteem brought on by actually having a good idea (she got through med-school by sheer memorization) being dismissed by the violate Head of Special Circumstances.
Dr. Isadora was an imposing figure, though not because of her height or any graceful beauty (all beauty she had was devoid of any kindness), but because of her simply purposeful gate and her utter lack of pleasantries in body language. Her bushy eyebrows furrowed, and as she began to walk away she turned around to the intern, “Oh and Ms. Will,” the woman perked up not even realizing that Isadora had accidentally-on purpose (Isadora would hate to get stuck in only one way to be aggressive) mistaken her for another intern with a similar name and larger brain, “get me the equipment I need for a jump stat. It’s the big shiny things with all the little numbers,” she elaborated, motioning like an epileptic Shakespearian actor, all the while keeping up her pace.
The women nodded and fled to the storage cabinet where all the more top-secret machinery was kept secretly giddy that she could take part in something that most officials in the government didn’t even knew existed. Isadora on the other hand was much less amused by the whole affair. On the surface going into a patients mind before hand appealed to her sense of curiosity but the trouble that her lawyer would give her for it would no doubt zap any and all joy she would get out of exploring someone-else’s fantasy world without having the focus of actually looking for something in particular.
She burst into the patients room with unintentional bravado. Glancing at his heart rate and peacefully sleep incuded temporary coma. There was one upside to working with the mentally disturbed they didn’t really care that they were giving you permission to dig around in there brain all night and day when they signed their papers. And this guy had been busy staring at her in that “I’m attracted to you because you remind me of my ex-girlfriend I beat” kind of way. The pick up line you’ve been running through my mind all night had a new special meaning for the two of them now.
She rolled her eyes at his comatose state, knowing that the orderlies would wake him up in exactly five hours, which meant that there time was slowly dwindling down and her “team” wasn’t here yet. She preferred the term lackeys but considering they were getting six figures a year it didn’t really seem appropriate.
