The Character
Name:
Ava Moore
Gender:
Female
Age:
30
Race:
European
How long have they been at St. Mary's?:
A few Weeks. Ava is the Writer on Isadora's Team.
Position:
The Writer
Training:
Masters in Literacy and Historical Literacy, PhD in Creative Writing and Journalism, Masters in Computer Analysis and Masters in Linguistics
Appearance:
Ava has always been a good looking girl. From the moment she was born everyone knew that she would grow into a beautiful and well filled out young women. She stands at average hight for a women of thirty, maybe a little taller at 6'0. She is quiet slim in figure, although she eats like a pig she has an extremely fast metabolism that runs in her family. She ahs quiet a plump face, unlike the rest of her body. She hates it but it is just another part of Ava that one can consider different. She has many tattoo’s, some.. she wished she had never got as a Teenager, and others that she wishes were bigger.
Although she is an extremely smart and talented Author and linguist, she is still a party animal on her days off. Her largest tattoo is the world ‘Lover’ across her shoulders in Old English Writing, also.. she has a large heart with veins surrounding it on her lower back. She has a few smaller ones of her arms and legs, but they are often covered up when working. Her hair is long and blonde, dying it often to streaks of black but always remaining a blonde n matter what, she considers it her trade-mark. She has relatively broad shoulders, which she also does not like.. usually it would put people off wearing sleeveless shirts but she could not care less the opinions of others. The rest of her body is slim and shapely, nothing extremely special but nothing extremely repulsive either.
Personality:
Ava likes to Party. She likes to go out and have a good time, have fun with others and get wasted when she does not have to get up early the next day for work. When out, her personality is large and boisterous, having being raised by Actors, she has always had a very out-right and forward personality. She learnt over time that the opinions of the people around her really did not matter at all, and she does what she wants.. when she wants. Although.. when she is at work, she is still the fun, outgoing and forward person that she was raised, but alot more sensible.
It takes alot of hard-work and persistence to learn to keep your social life at home at your work life at work. Ava mastered this quite quickly in University, knowing that finishing assignments always came before getting drunk and partying. When at work, people can sometimes get annoyed with her forward nature. Most like her being so open but there are a few that just want to be left alone. Ava respects there strange and, to her at least, anti-social nature, but often tries to get them to loosen up. Over-all, Ava is a loud and out-going person with ambition, keeping her two lives separate and always giving 100 percent in everything she does.
History:
Ava Moore’s life had never been what one would call... Structured. She was an only child to Jane and Hamish Moore, who were stage actors. This meant that from the moment Ava was born she was on the move. She was born in London, England, but shortly after her parents got a part in a Play called ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ which lasted for three years and travelled all across the world. From then, they got many offers for plays and even movies, which meant Ava spent her childhood and early adolescence being schooled on the road by a hired teacher that travelled with the Thespians. It was not long until Ava being interested in Acting. She landed small parts in many of her parents plays, as well as a few miniscule parts in movies. She became very confident on stage and her parents were egger to have her become a famous actress.
Although.. she wanted to do something completely different. At the age of Sixteen, she said goodbye to her parents and the life of Thespians to go to High school in London. She finished with flying colours, finding it very easy after the stuff she had been taught by her private teacher. She went on to study Literacy at University, being very talented in Journalism and creative writing. She loved to Write, weither it be fact or fiction, she had a gift, even more so then acting, although her history of acting helped her with confidence in public speaking.
She gathered a bundle of qualifications in Literacy and Journalism and went on to be the people who wrote impromptu speeches for the president. It seemed that it was Heaven, but doing the same thing day after day got boring, and she eventually handed in her resignation. no more then two weeks later, she was approached by a group of people who offered her a job as the Writer for a top secret experiment at St. Mary’s psychiatric Hospital. She joined Isadora’s team without hesitation, figuring that she could put her qualifications to good use.

Its seemed that the world had all but slid to a halt. The government was controlling all like robots, like dogs on a leash that would never release. It seemed to all those with even a flicker of human desire left, that Humanity itself would one day become obsolete. Hiding art in the shadows, unable to lay eyes upon something so beautiful as it could corrupt the Mind. The Government was out of control, but even so.. completely in control. Opposing the people who were attempting to create a perfect world did not exist, or perhaps it was thriving but never understood. Not even those who Peacefully protested had every possibility that they would be killed before they got a second change.
It was punishable by death for anyone to be roaming the streets after curfew, but even so.. Evey Hammond found herself stepping slowly and cautiously through the baron and dark streets of London, England. Perhaps it was because her mind was wondering from the government, perhaps it was because being kept inside like a dog in a cage was becoming all to much for her. Or.. perhaps it was the simple idea that the Government could be destroyed if her want was enough.
It was an extremely cold night. Even without a curfew most people would be in-doors, probably sitting next to the fire, wrapped in a warm blanket with a cup of Cocoa in there hands. But.. the weather had not stopped Evey Hammond from making her way across her large township. She could not help but shiver, being dressed only in a all-to-tight white button up shirt, with a light black jacket unzipped over it, and a pair of long black pants covering her legs. Her feet were probably the only part on her body that was remotely warm, covered by a pair of sheep-shin boots, with hard soles so the water enveloping the ground did not ruin them.
Her dark browns eyes jolted to the left as she crossed a baron and water-logged street. She had heard a sound, perhaps a finger man.. perhaps another persons trying to exit the eyes of the government. She was not willing to take a chance. Walking faster, she entered a backstreet and although she new these streets well, the dark made the way things seemed completely different and Evey Hammond quickly found herself lost.
"Where the hell am I?" an accent seen commonly in London, English tongue with the sweetness of vague French. The slim and overall petite women continued down a long, narrow street, unaware for her location in the vast City. Emerging from the narrow backstreet, Evey took caution crossing a baron street quietly. There was no sound. none at all, not even the crickets dare sing in fright of being arrested. Evey made note to not let even the sound of the puddles slashing as she stepped be heard. Stepping lightly in the rain demanded full attention, although, she was succeeding in being undetected by the finger men roaming the city after curfew, her knowledge of her whereabouts was as vague as it had been before.
Scanning the area, she noticed a figure kneeling, hunched over something outside of a rather large building. She quickly hid herself, peering out from behind the parked car. The Person was still, and in a moment of ignorance Every had almost mistook him for a statue. But the movement of his lengthy black hair told her that he was in fact a person. He did not look lie a finger man, They all had short, military style haircuts walking staunch like they were the chancellor himself. No.. he looked nothing like a finger man.
Every stood, walking out from behind the car and looking down at her hands. They were freezing, as cold as ice and as pale as marble. She needed to get inside soon or risk dying of frostbite. She had been on her way to see someone, an old friend.. the kind of friend that one could only risk seeing at midnight in the pitch black darkness of night. After a brief moment of hesitation and contemplation, Evey came to the conclusion that the man could be trusted with a simple question. It seemed she really had no other choice. She approached, becoming almost entirely intent on reaching the man. Her feet made sound in the water, and she walked without censorship as if she was allowed to be out. She moved behind the hunched figure, extending a long and ashen fnger to tap him on the back but pulled away as she heard him whisper.
"Remember.. Remember.. the Fifth of November"
She cocked her eyebrows into a rather confused expression, once again extending a finger and tapping him on the shoulder, still unable to see anything of his face. "Uh.. Hello" she said in her usual accent "I was wondering if you could tell me how I could get to Simon Street" she cleared her throat, still shivering slightly in teh extreme cold and light patter of the rain.
